Raincoast Books, Canada’s award-winning book publisher and distributor, recently completed an e-commerce strategy engagement with OpenRoad Communications and Karo Design. This project investigated opportunities for Raincoast Books to better serve their clients through business to business (B2B) e-commerce applications.
Gordon Ross recently guest lectured for students at TechBC. Gordon covered several topics during his lecture, including success factors in e-commerce, managing web-application projects, and the future of Internet applications.
OpenRoad President Darren Gibbons spoke to a standing-room only session at Comdex 2000 in Vancouver. He co-presented with Ruth Johnson, President of ITEC Corp., on the Internet-Connected Remote Office. Darren covered remote file sharing systems, firewalls and security issues, remote application servers, intranet software, and remote desktops during his presentation.
