WCB Internet Rate site launched

The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) recently launched a new premiums section on their website for BC’s employer community. The site, designed and built in collaboration with OpenRoad (now OXD), allows employers to understand how classification, rate setting, and experience rating works to determine premiums with the WCB.

OpenRoad awarded BC Ministry of Forests project

OpenRoad was recently awarded a major contract by the Ministry of Forests to develop a corporate reporting system that provides forest companies throughout the province with crucial timber tenure and silviculture information. This project is part of the Ministry’s VMAR initiative to move Ministry VM applications to a Java web-based environment.

An instructor for UBC’s Management in Digital Media Certificate Program, Gord focused on the unique challenges of digital media project management and presented the foundation required for a successful project.
