UBC Innovation, UBC Strategic Plan, UBC News, and the Online Divorce Assistant Application have each been recognized at the 2019 Communicator Awards. For 25 years The Communicator Awards have celebrated marketing and communications excellence. Submissions from around the world are evaluated by The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts. Past winners include Pepsi, Microsoft, NASA, and Samsung.
UBC Innovation and UBC Strategic Plan won the Excellence Award, while UBC News was recognized with the Award of Distinction. The Online Divorce Assistant, created for the Ministry of the Attorney General of British Columbia won the award of Distinction in the Government category.
