OpenRoad delivers CMS strategy for city of Vancouver

With over 40,000 documents and 1.0 million visits per month, the City of Vancouver website is a crucial information aspects for the citizens, businesses, and visitors of Vancouver. OpenRoad was hired to provide a content management system strategy for the City.

OpenRoad performed extensive research, conducted in-person interviews, reviewed industry best practices, and conducted a gap analysis exercise in preparing the strategy document. The scope of the recommendation document included outlining current state versus best practices for content or portal management tools, governance/oversight of content creation, suggested project phases and schedules, and a business case. The recommendation was presented and accepted by City management and will form the basis of an ongoing content management project at the City from 2007 onwards.
