UBC works with OXD to expand their widely-successful public engagement campaign.
In 2018 UBC launched The Potential is Yours, an advertising campaign introducing their new brand positioning. The ads, created by advertising agency TAXI, featured students and faculty doing important research which addresses complex issues facing society including climate change, urban planning, and health.
The campaign, which sought to further public engagement and increase awareness of the research being done at UBC, was well received and people were eager to learn more about the individuals featured in the ads. As UBC’s agency of record OXD was tasked with redesigning the campaign website to improve the navigation and expand the individuals’ featured stories. Our designers and developers worked collaboratively with UBC’s Brand & Marketing team and TAXI to set the digital strategy for the website and refine interactive concepts.
