Upcoming workshop explores the role of culture in Digital Transformation

OXD’s Gordon Ross will be running a Culture Mapping workshop with Kevin Conn, Director, Business Transformation & Training at the Ministry of the Attorney General.

We’re excited to share that our Vice President Gordon Ross will be speaking and facilitating at the upcoming OCIO Connect event in Victoria October 3-4. The workshop will focus on the role of culture in digital transformation. More specifically, the extent to which organizational culture becomes the achilles’ heel of digital transformation projects within government. Gordon and Kevin will also share their experiences working on digital transformation within Court Services Branch of the BC Government.

OCIO Connect is an event that brings brings together more than 1,000 people from both government and the public sector. The event explores how emerging technology, innovation, and digital transformation can enable the delivery of cost-effective, accessible and responsive services to our citizens. Hosted by the Office of the Chief Information Officer, this two day event aims to engage the BC Public Service and its partners to engage with people, ideas, and opportunities that will help create a digital government that meets and exceeds citizens’ expectations.
