Winnie Ho
Senior UX and Service Designer
Winnie is a Senior User Experience (UX) and Service Designer at OXD who works in complex environments, the type with many interest holders, legacy processes, and competing needs. She applies human-centred and service design methods to find opportunities for change. Winnie takes a hands-on, research-grounded approach to her work: she’s as comfortable out in the field running contextual interviews as she is mapping a service blueprint or sitting with developers to translate designs into working products.
Winnie has led research and design work for clients including BC Ministry of Environment and Parks, BC Ministry of Attorney General, Government of Alberta, Vancouver Coastal Health, and TransLink. She has also facilitated workshops on service design methods at Service Design Network conferences and the Royal Roads University Design Thinking Educators’ Conference.
Winnie graduated from the Computer Science program at the University of British Columbia. Outside of work, you can find her running on local trails, doing arts and crafts at home, or playing a friendly game of dodgeball on the court.
