James Byun, Art Director at OXD, brings nearly two decades of design expertise to digital products and experiences. Specializing in websites, web applications, and product design, James crafts cutting-edge visual solutions that drive engagement and achieve business goals. His portfolio includes transformative projects for the Government of BC and other public sector clients, where he translates complex requirements into user-friendly designs.

James’ understanding of both design principles and technical implementation ensures smooth project execution and optimal outcomes. Collaborating closely with UX specialists, he aligns designs with user needs and business objectives. Prior to OXD, James honed his skills as a senior product designer at Tyler Technologies and a designer at digital agency Mod7, working with notable clients like Electronic Arts.

When not elevating digital experiences, James can be found exploring new culinary hotspots, sipping on a well-crafted scotch, cutting up the hockey rink, or taking off on global adventures. Just don’t ask him about his fantasy football team unless you’ve got time for a long chat!
