Dave Kachman

Senior User Experience Designer

As a Senior User Experience Designer, Dave is responsible for creating user experiences that are intuitive and easy to use.

Dave has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and is certified as a Professional Engineer with APEGBC. His background is in front-end application development including SharePoint and Sitefinity solutions. He has a wealth of experience in all stages of development including design, implementation, and testing. He has also gained experience developing intranets for many large enterprise clients on the SharePoint platform including VanCity, Goldcorp, and BC Hydro.

Before joining OXD, Dave worked in the remote sensing industry focusing on user interface design, developing data processing applications, and creating visualization software. He's since gained extensive experience in front-end web development and information architecture including usability testing and interaction design.

When he's not working, you’ll find Dave riding his snowboard or mountain bike, rocking out at a live concert, cheering on the Edmonton Oilers, or learning to play guitar.
