Darren has led OXD since co-founding the company in 1996. Darren brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, technological know-how, and great people skills to many of OXD's projects. His hands-on approach has helped organizations like the BC Supreme Court, Electronic Arts, Intrawest, Pokémon, and WorksafeBC achieve success with innovative and powerful web applications.
Darren majored in Applied Physics at Simon Fraser University. He has been a guest speaker on topics ranging from enterprise Java architecture to social software in the enterprise and has spoken at conferences including KM World, Connect, the Social Intranet Summit, and more. Darren is also the co-author of a book on JavaBeans 1.1 published by McGraw-Hill.
He's most at home talking to people, whether it's talking technology choices with developers or collaboration goals with clients.
