As a Software Developer at OXD, Diego aims to understand our clients’ needs and requirements while solving problems with high-quality software solutions. By working on both front-end and back-end development, he ensures the entire application meets high quality development standards and complies with best practices.

Diego has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Thompson Rivers University. In university, he worked on a project that would replace a local company’s traditional authentication system for hands-free voice-based authentication and also implemented a geofencing feature on a mobile application that would detect when workers entered or exited the project area.

Prior to joining OXD, Diego was a lead full-stack developer managing a small team that supported the design, implementation, and maintenance of a web and mobile app that helped construction companies manage their projects more efficiently. While there, he also created a second mobile app that connected trade workers with potential customers.

Diego loves playing, watching, and talking about soccer—which he can do for hours. When he doesn’t have soccer on his mind, he’s playing guitar and learning how to play piano.
