Amanda Chan
User Experience Designer
As a User Experience (UX) Designer at OXD, Amanda uses a human-centred approach to create fluid experiences that have a positive impact on people. She enjoys connecting with people to gain an understanding of their diverse views to help inform design solutions.
Amanda previously worked as a product designer for a healthcare technology company where she worked on all parts of the human-centred design process. Her design contributions helped people safely return to workplaces and schools during the COVID-19 pandemic and supported healthcare providers in empowering patients to be an active participant in their healthcare journey.
Amanda studied a joint major in Marketing and Design at Simon Fraser University and later completed the UX Design program at RED Academy to gain more hands-on experience.
When Amanda isn’t solving design challenges, she’s travelling the globe to explore different cultures—and their food. She enjoys trying new restaurants and attempting to cook new recipes inspired by her travels.
