As a Project Manager at OXD, Svenja leads teams through large-scale business process, website, and web application projects. She enjoys working closely with teams who have diverse expertise—each project acting as a learning opportunity. Svenja also has a passion for human-centred design and solving meaningful problems for clients.
Before joining OXD, Svenja worked at a Vancouver-based creative agency as a project manager for real-estate brand roll-outs, and Ace & Tate, an eyewear company from Amsterdam where she focused on market research and analytics. She also supported the optimization of operations and processes for Curafa, a primary health care pilot project offering affordable access to health services for rural communities in Kenya, developed by Merck KGaA.
Svenja received her Bachelor in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam, and her Master in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School. Her education and previous career experiences have strengthened her knowledge in market research and business analysis tools and processes.
Svenja is originally from Germany, and has lived on four different continents in her life—so far. When she isn’t managing projects, she enjoys cycling with her “bikepack” for impromptu overnight camping. She also snowboards and takes advantage of Vancouver’s great natural light for her analogue photography hobby.
