Senior User Experience Designer

As a Senior User Experience Designer at OXD, Jane helps take complex tasks and ideas and translates them into clear, precise designs. She brings over 10 years of experience to the User Experience (UX) team from her previous roles as a UX Designer in London and Los Angeles. Jane was the Lead UX Designer for the 2012 US Presidential election coverage at Yahoo!. She has worked on website redesign projects for Disney Cruise Line, YP.com, Movies.com, and ABC.com.

Jane’s education is in English literature and journalism and she has worked for a wide variety of clients writing e-learning courses, website copy, marketing emails, and other digital projects. Immediately before joining the OXD team in Vancouver, Jane was travelling full-time as a professional travel blogger.

In her free time, Jane takes advantage of the nature that BC has to offer by practicing her travel photography skills, snowshoeing, hiking, and cycling. Jane's favourite thing to do is explore other cultures and she is always planning her next adventure, whether local or international.
