Carmen Chau

Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, Carmen helps lead a diverse team of multidisciplinary experts towards a common goal while balancing time, budgets, and resources. She believes customer relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle are key to successful outcomes.

Carmen has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Communications and a Postgraduate degree in Public Relations. She is also a Certified ScrumMaster with over 10 years of experience leading clients and cross-functional teams through marketing initiatives across multiple mediums.

Before joining OXD, Carmen was the dedicated project manager for BC Women’s Health Foundation. While in this role, she led the Foundation’s rebrand, directed development of the website, and spearheaded the Foundation’s sponsorship fulfilment of Women Deliver, the world’s largest conference on gender equality. She has worked with MEC, implementing the execution of their brand strategy by leading the development of the Good Times Outside microsite—driving design, content, marketing, e-commerce, SEO, analytics, development, and partner agencies through concurrent timelines. Carmen has also managed projects for The Jim Pattison Group and the Overwaitea Food Group in her career.

When she’s not managing projects for OXD, Carmen enjoys camping and learning Spanish. She is an avid reader and likes to set annual reading goals for herself.
